3. Thanks to everyone for the support for the Toonie Hike, thus far. A reminder that Thursday, May 16 is the last day for Toonie Hike forms. Prizes will be drawn next week.

4. Kindergarten Parent Information Night: We would like to invite all parents of upcoming kindergarten students to our Kindergarten Parent Information Night. This will be held on Wednesday, May 15th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Rogers Elementary School library. The Kindergarten Parent Information Night will provide you with information about the school, kindergarten and the Parent Advisory Council, as well as providing an opportunity to meet some of the Rogers staff and to ask questions that you have about kindergarten. Looking forward to meeting our new kindergarten parents soon!

5. Kindergarten Student School Visit: We would like all newly registered kindergarten students to attend a school visit for 30 minutes. This will be held on Thursday, May 16th in the Rogers Elementary School library. The school visit will include about 12-15 children in each group. It will give your child a chance to meet some other students, some of our teachers and it will provide us with an opportunity to get to know your child.  We will have a school tour for the parents while the children are busy in the library.  Looking forward to meeting our new kindergarten students!

6. Middle School Visits: grade 5 students going to SD61 (Greater Victoria) Middle Schools next year for grade 6 will be attending an orientation session on the afternoon of Thursday, May 16th. The students going to Glanford will be taking a bus at 12:40 pm with Mrs. Robertson and Mr. Pite and returning to Rogers by 3 pm. The students attending Cedar Hill will leave at 12:30 and return by 2:30 pm. Students attending SD61 Middle Schools other than Glanford or Cedar Hill will require transportation and supervision with parents. Students attending schools outside of SD61 will remain at Rogers for the afternoon with Ms. Fellman. Have fun everyone!

Enjoy the week!
