Thursday, January 20:
Division 1 to the Emily Carr Library
Divs 13, 15 & 16 to Skate Canada in AM
Information:
The bottle drive was a great success! We had numerous parent and student volunteers for the day. In total, there were $1233.35 worth of bottles sorted. The profits will go to Rogers Elementary School and a donation of $617 will go to the Casa Nazareth orphanage in Bolivia. Thanks to all who contributed!
Starting this week, staff at Rogers will be increasing the acknowledgement of positive behaviours. Staff will be handing out "Catching Students Caring" papers; papers that have a Rogers sun on them. Students will write name on the paper and put in the box on the front bulletin board. The names will be put on the bulletin board every day or so. We hope to fill our board up with names! This is part of our Positive Behaviour Support initiative. Acknowledging positive behaviours further promotes good behaviour!
